Group Tours
Guided tours of the Benicia Historical Museum are a great way to spend an afternoon in Benicia!
All tours include the main Museum, featuring artifacts and storyboards: from the Native Patwin tribes of Solano County, the founding of Benicia, California Statehood, The Benicia Arsenal, Industrialization, to the arts in Benicia.
Tours during museum hours (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday through Sunday) can be booked for groups of 8 or more people. Tours can also be
scheduled outside Museum hours, Tuesdays through Fridays between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Please note: There is limited availability for guided tours on weekends and in the month of December.
Please allow 1 to 1 1/2 hours for your Museum tour. The Museum is handicap accessible.
If your group is interested in visiting the Powder Magazine, allow another 1/2 hour. The Powder Magazine is located about a quarter mile from the Museum. Please Note: The Powder Magazine is only accessible by a short flight of stairs.
